Exploring Nature’s Classroom: Wild Geo Educational Tour
At Emmanuel College, we believe that the best learning happens beyond the classroom. This September, our students embarked on an unforgettable journey with the Wild Geo Educational Tour, a six-day adventure designed to bring Geography and Physics lessons to life.
From September 6th to 11th, our IGCSE and A2 Geography students, along with their peers in Physics A2, explored some of the most stunning natural landscapes. The tour, which cost $245 per student, offered hands-on learning experiences that textbooks simply can’t provide.
A Journey Through Nature
The tour took our students to breathtaking locations where they could see and study geological formations, lush greenery, and clear blue skies. These natural settings provided the perfect backdrop for practical field knowledge. Students discussed erosional processes, measured wind speeds, and observed environmental management practices in action.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
This trip wasn’t just about sightseeing. It was an immersive educational experience that allowed students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings. They engaged in activities that enhanced their understanding of key concepts in Geography and Physics, making learning both fun and impactful.
